" Outdoor Enthusiasts! was incorporated into nonprofit group in October of 1983. Yes! " Outdoor Enthuiasts! " is the name of our organization. The objectives of our club are:
To enjoy the nature of our world while socializing
To utilize our natural surroundings efficiently
To learn new skills and share new experiences with one another, and with the general public where applicable
To conduct club events in a manner pleasing and acceptable to the public, Mother Nature, and us
To ensure the continued success of the club by the efforts of the executive to serve the membership and assist through effective leadership
To keep cost down while maintaining the above objectives
Any individual may apply for membership. As most of our members are in the Moncton Area it will be only natural that most of our events will be in New Brunswick. As we are closer to Nova Scotia than Quebec and Prince Edward Island you could expect us to hike more in Nova Scotia than the other two provinces. With Newfoundland and Ontario been even further away you can expect to get to these province once in ten years.
For us to travel to places west of Ontario is just too expensive.
However, there is nothing stopping indiviidual members from getting together in small groups to hike or do other outdoor activities anywhere in the world.
Membershi and registration shall be yearly and run from April 1 to March 31. Individual membership is $25 per year while family membership is $30 per year. March is membership month. Our annual meeting is held in October.
Is the answer to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing, or situation - some fact of my life unacceptable to me and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing, or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment. Nothing, absolutely nothing, happens in this world by mistake; unless I accept life completely on life's terms, I can not be happy. I need to concentrates not so much on what needs to be changed in this world as on what needs to be changed in me and in my attitudes.
The Beaver Trail in Kouchibouguac National Park is an easy 1.4 km. loop that is usually dry. As the name of this self-guiding trail suggests, the work of the beaver is its main feature. An inactive beaver pond is at the centre of the raised boardwalk trail.
